Anyone here have/play Escape Goat before? Well... I have a question about it. For anyone who actually owns the game...(as in can play it without going to the website)... are you able to edit the game sprites with it, by using only .png files? Cuz I'm willing to pay $5 on the game JUST to be able to mod the game. (specifically, change the character sprites)
If you didn't know already... I mod/alter 2D game sprites for PC games in my spare-spare time. :m It helps me enjoy playing games such as Spelunky... Cave Story... La-Mulana... HammerWatch... 1001 Spikes... etc., a lot more than I would if I wasn't able to change the sprites. Usually in the game's files, in the assets/tiles folder, all the characters and tiles are able to be altered because they are in .png format. But lately, games have been using .xnb files, so I can't mod the game sprites unless I had something that was able to alter .xnb sprites. (that which I can not seem to do, without purchasing various expensive programs and tools.)
So yeah.... all this typing over a Goat. :m

Meh
I'm bored, so I just wanna rant really quick about this stupid chat feature. I'm fine with them incorporating a chat feature for this site. Fine... great... some people will use it... but why on Earth did they prioritize that over the notes? When I click the new note tab, it'd usually take me to my inbox...... Cool. That's what I want. But now I click it and it takes me to the stupid beta chat. No. Get that out of my face. I have no reason to use that if I have other chat alternatives that work way better and are 1000000000 times more convenient. Again... no shade thrown to the actual feature. But if it's getting in the way of the other features, and annoyingly jumping up and down in my face, trying to be noticed, then it just pisses me off. Whatevs..... that aside, Uh...... nothing new. I know it doesn't SEEM like I'm around or doing much art anymore, but I still am. Just the bulk of what I do is commission art, and not every last commission picture is posted to my gallery.

I know it's been a bit since I closed off the questions, and maybe people are curious why it's taking a bit....... Not that an explanation is needed, but I think it'd be nice to let y'all know why....
Things have been pretty busy with life, so I hadn't had the most time or energy to draw. I want to have them all done so I can post 1 a day until I've posted all 10 answers. Not to mention I still have commissions to work on inbetween all of these. So yes.... please be patient.

have you tried finding a program that converts .xnb to a .png and vice versa? that's the kind of thing I needed back when I was working with .sff files in my old MUGEN days (so, like, millions of years ago 
).
anywayz, modding game sprites. cool beans. :b I remember when I used to mod the crap out of a game called Little Fighter 2. X3 my bro and I would replace many of the character's sprites with Mario and Sonic characters. X3 We were weebs back then. later we added ourselves in the game and then we started messing with the code. XP I got to a point where I added Chun-Li to the game, with legit moves from Street Fighter n' all. fun times. :3c and that's how I became a programmer. :U
